    2007,

    “Gaudreau Environnement” and the Municipal Administrative Region
    (MRC) of Arthabaska joined forces in a public-private partnership, thus
    creating a new Residual Material Management Company spanning the
    entire administrative region’s territory.
    Joint management of the Landfill Site in Saint-Rosaire and the Sorting
    Centre in Victoriaville, both operated by Gaudreau, maximizes resource
    reclamation and thereby allows for controlling costs for the member
    municipalities, and this, for the
    benefit of the current, as well upcoming population.

    The regional spin-offs are important on both environmental and
    economical levels: jobs created, investments generated, synergy
    developed for improving population awareness as to reduction at he
    source, re-use, retrieval and reclamation of residual material.
    Reclamation goal achievement is thereby ensured for all municipal
    partners.
