    Remarks on the search and analysis process


    The students who have volunteered to take part in the National
    Planning Program will initially need, some guidance and some
    assistance until they become familiar with the search, analysis
    and evaluation processes.

    These will be provided by the group coordinator and by the
    different experts and economists who will volunteer to help them
    through this first stage.

    We offer below some general remarks on the subject hoping that
    they may prove useful to the readers.

    In section 1 entitled "The action envisaged" the graphic below
    illustrates the recommended procedure that should be followed
    when one intends to research a particular subject.

    In section 2 entitled "The basic documents" some of the specific
    documents related to the operations of the Ministry of Finance
    have been mentioned.

    In section 3 entitled "the sources of information" the graphic
    points out to some of the information sources that are available
    to researchers

    Finally in section 4 entitled "Our final objectives" the primary
    objectives of  of the government's fiscal policy have been
    identified.
